Ross Stapleton-Gray, Ph.D., CISSP, is a visiting Associate with zLab. He is an information technology and policy analyst, with interests in issues around unique identifiers, security, surveillance and privacy. He served six years as an intelligence analyst and planning officer at the Central Intelligence Agency and Intelligence Community Management Staff, and has held positions with the American Petroleum Institute, two information security start-ups, and the University of California Office of the President. He has taught as an adjunct professor at three universities, with courses on information age issues, and the transformation of national security as a consequence of information technology. He lives in Albany, California with his wife and two daughters.
